JR Dragster Fuel Tech Stage 1 Kit
In regards to the rules of using Fuel Tech on a Jr Dragster, and where the System may be located on the car. After Speaking with Skooter Pico, a Fuel Tech System (any digital dash, mechanical gauges, etc.) is 100% Legal inside the driver compartment. For Jr Dragsters the system is allowed to record RPM, Jack Shaft, CHT, & EGT. His recommendation was to have the system in the NHRA Jr dragster program.
You are not allowed to show recordED data (past or previous passes) while the vehicle is going down the race track. You may also not trigger any output such as Shiftlight, Timers, or Sensors.
With the above being said, Skooter Pico has also stressed these rules are at the WDRA Track Discretion. Some Tracks can choose to not allow it, while others allow it. Please check with your local WDRA Race Track.

After Speaking with Alan Reinhart, a Fuel Tech System (any digital dash) can NOT be inside the driver compartment. For Jr Dragsters the system is allowed to record RPM, Jack Shaft, CHT, & EGT. You are allowed to display mechanical gauges showing RPM and CHT inside the drive compartment.
